Reimbursement

Arriva Italia recognizes the reimbursement of subscriptions before they expire.

The user must request it by filling out the following reimbursement form to be submitted to the Management of Arriva Italia.

The refund is recognized:

  • for ANNUAL subscriptions in the amount of 90% of the fee for the entire months following the one in which it is returned (excluding June, July and August for annual students).
  • for MONTHLY subscriptions to the extent of 90% of the fee for the entire days following the one in which it is returned.
  • for WEEKLY subscriptions in the amount of 90% of the remaining whole days following the one in which it is returned or alternatively, the week of validity is changed. In both cases, the subscription must be delivered to our offices by 12.00 on Monday of the week of validity.

Sanctions

Law Regione Lombardia n. 6/2012 del 04/04/2012 article 46

Users of regional and local public transport services are required to have suitable and valid travel documents, to keep it for the duration of the route and up to the descent stop, as well as to show it at the request of the security staff. Failure to comply with these obligations entails the application of the administrative penalty.

Rules of the company

By boarding the bus, the user must be in possession of a suitable and valid travel document issued by the Company or documentation certifying admission to free movement on buses according to current legislation. The ticket is personal and cannot be transferred and must be validated during the ascent (*), SHOWN TO THE DRIVER and KEPT intact and recognizable for the entire duration of the route and up to the descent stop, as well as EXHIBIT at the request of the security staff. The passenger is responsible for checking the accuracy of the stamping, and in the event of an error, immediately notify the driver of the vehicle. In the event of an inspection carried out by our inspection staff, the travel document must be kept by the user for up to 60 days from the expiry of the same and made available for subsequent checks carried out by Arriva Italia All season tickets, with the exception of the annual student season ticket, must always be accompanied by a valid identification card, the number of which must be indicated on the season ticket by the season ticket holder.

These travel documents provide for stamping at each trip.
Stamping (obliteration) must be carried out at the same time as boarding the bus. In the event of a malfunction of the stamping machine, the user must notify the driver who will directly validate the document; for this reason, the user must access only from the door used for the ascent.
Travel tickets must be intact and without any type of counterfeiting (cancellations, corrections, cuts, etc.).

These travel documents require stamping during the first trip of the subscription validity period.

Subscriptions are considered valid only if correctly completed in each part.
Weekly, monthly and quarterly passes must always be accompanied by the RECOGNITION CARD, the number of which must be indicated on the travel pass by the subscriber.
Travel tickets must be intact and without any type of counterfeiting (cancellations, corrections, cuts, etc.).

The ORDINARY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION must always be accompanied by an identification card, the number of which must be indicated on the travel document by the subscriber.
The ANNUAL STUDENT SUBSCRIPTION instead includes both the travel document and the identification card in a single card.

Checks and on board controls

During the transport service, a staff person in charge of the control, equipped with a specific identification document and qualified by law as a Public Official, can exercise his / her functions of verification, assessment, dispute and possible application of the administrative sanction as governed by Law 24/11/1981 n. 689 s.m.i. and according to the provisions established by L.R. n. 6 of 04/04/2012 modified and integrated by the L.R. n. 18 of 10/12/2013.

Users are required:

  • to present the travel document at each check carried out by the staff appointed by the Company;
  • to decline their personal details to the control staff; in this regard, we inform you that the false declarations of your own and others’ identity will be prosecuted pursuant to art. 496 of the Criminal Code.

We inform you that false declarations about the identity, state or other qualities of one’s own or someone else’s to a public official or person in charge of a public service, in the exercise of the functions or service, is punished according to the provisions of the ‘art. 496 of the Criminal Code.
